 Yasiin Bey was arrested on Thursday at Cape Town International Airport in South Africa for violating local immigration laws. 

 

Formerly known as Mos Def, the rapper and actor produced a fraudulent passport while attempting to leave the country. Bey appeared in court after the arrest for the violation, where he received an order to exit South Africa. 

 

The performer entered South Africa with an American passport in 2013 but has overstayed his visitor's permit. According to the nation's Department of Home Affairs, he has 14 days to leave the country.

Kelly Clarkson is headed back to American Idol! The pop star is returning to the show that made her a household name for the first live show of the program's 15th and final season. 

 

Executive producer Trish Kinane announced at a panel for the series at the Television Critics Association winter press tour, "We've invited her to be part of this season and she's really happy to be. 

 

She will be a guest judge on our first live top 10 show and she'll also perform." While timing might not work out for the first American Idol to perform on the finale, insiders say they're trying to work out ways to bring Clarkson back for that as well.
